Mechanical Engineer

Reports To: VP, Engineering
Position Summary:
Plan and design product applications and assemble project teams. Responsible for organizing highly complex activities for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of engineering projects.
Primary Responsibility:
Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods.
Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
Transitions products from development to production.
Oversee manufacturing of products and process optimization.
Education, Training and Experience:
B.S. (M.S. preferred) in Mechanical Engineering.
A minimum of 8 years of related experience.
Manufacturing experience in the semi-conductor and/or electronics industry desired.
Physical Job Requirements:
Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time.
In a typical 8 hour day, employee will:
--Stand/walk for 8 hours
--Talk and hear in person and by telephone
--Type and view a computer screen for up to 8 hours a day
Other Requirements:

Employees are expected to carry out all reasonable requests by managers/supervisors, which the employee is capable of performing.
