Our franchisees have the exclusive rights to sell Zounds Hearing Aids, the most technologically advanced hearing aids on the market. You will manage your Permitted Marketing Area and we will support you in building your business.

Other hearing aids go through multiple channels – each taking a profit – before reaching the retail center. We manufacture our aids and sell them directly to our franchisees, without any middleman markups. Additionally, our hearing aids retail at substantially less than competitor’s products, which gives you an advantage in the marketplace.
Low Start-Up Costs
Start-up investment for a Zounds franchise varies, but we estimate the total cost to be in the range of $144k – $214k, depending upon your area. Start-up costs include outfitting your store with furnishings, product and equipment. We provide a furnishings list and recommendations on where to purchase what you need. We help you determine your product levels and stock the store,and ourauto-replenishing system means you can run your business with lower inventory. Additionally, the store has a small footprint and can be run in 600-1000 sqft. of space, further lowering your overhead.

Zounds owns corporate stores, and our franchisees receive the benefit of our experience – including assistance with site selection and leasing, staffing, training, and more. We have experts in each of these areas to help you launch your new business. You will also have a dedicated operations manager and ongoing marketing support to help you create a successful business and build your brand.
Automated Scheduling and Inventory Replenishment Systems
Zounds’ CRM system allows you to easily schedule appointments, process and track sales, and access financial statements. We have also automated the inventory replenishment system, to ensure your store is always stocked with the products you need to conduct business.
Training Support
You and your staff will attend “Zounds University” for extensive training prior to opening. You also have access to ongoing training via webinars, weekly Franchisee calls and direct support from a dedicated operations manager.
Great Hours and Working Conditions
Zounds locations are open Monday through Friday, 9:00 – 5:00. You only schedule appointments on weekends when you want to. Stores are staffed with a Hearing Specialist and a Customer Service Representative, so you do not manage a large staff.
