"I am now wearing a pair of Zounds hearing aids. This is my third pair of hearing aids. My first pair was twice as much. The second pair was too cheap. I could not hear well with either pair, nor could I control the hearing aids. I did not have to wait for the Zounds hearing aids. I received them the day I had my hearing exam. And they worked that day. They have a small remote that adjusts the aids for most situations in which I find myself including a dining mode. There is also a charger which holds both the remote and the hearing aids...no batteries to change or purchase! The convenience of the remote cannot be imagined unless 1) you have had hearing aids with no flexibility or 2) you had buttons on the aide itself and you had to keep fiddling behind your ear to find the right button or the correct number of clicks of the button while trying to have a conversation. So much for being discrete about wearing a hearing aid. The charger is a real plus. It was time consuming and sometimes tedious to put the batteries in my previous hearing aids and then to remove and store them when I took the aids off. With Zounds the sound is clear, the volume is controllable and various noise situations can be addressed from the remote. They are comfortable to wear and the service has been pleasant and immediate. What else can you ask for?"
